Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park - Oct 17-20, 2020
After more than 6 months of being in quarantine in LA, we finally decided to take a short group trip to Palm Springs in late October, and stayed at the AirBnB that Joe and Garrett had invited us to 6 years before. We picked up our friend Van on drive over there. It was still 103 degree out, but we were happy for the change in scenery. It was competition between Mike and Ava (Joe and Garrett’s dog) on who was more relaxed and having fun during this trip. Of course, we made a stop by the Cabazon outlet malls, where lines were long due to social distancing. Finally, a hot meal at a restaurant for the first time in memory, Tropicale’s roast duck and giant scallops were delicious.
